Starcraft 2 = insomnia!

So, I’ve just been awake for nearly two nights running simply because of one thing.
Starcraft. That’s right, the time sink is back, and I’ve been pushing to finish the single player campaign. And that got me wondering this morning. With three weeks of leave, why finish it in two nights. Turns out I had to. It’s the plot you see. I just had to know what the twist was regarding Tychus, and I’m now eagerly awaiting part two so I can see the continuation of this story. The plot is as good as any film, even better since you actually play through the events, rather than just watch them. The DRM bothers me quite a bit, and usually I have a no DRM policy. If you want to rent me a game, well, rent it to me. Lower price, continual basis. I’ll play it so long as I want to play your single player campaign and your multiplayer content, and when I’m done playing or the servers and DRM make the game unavailable…. I’ll stop paying. This is blizzards first game with DRM, and so far hasn’t seemed so draconian or complex as the set up employed by other companies, so time will tell.
